We are seeking a personable and experienced HVAC Service Technician who enjoys problem-solving and providing excellent customer service to join our team. In this role, you'll respond to a variety of service calls at homes and businesses, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, indoor air quality, refrigeration, and control systems.
The ideal candidate has strong technical and mechanical skills, can quickly identify and troubleshoot system issues, and is comfortable working with a variety of hand and power tools. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll work directly with customers to clearly explain recommended repairs, replacements, installations, and maintenance needs. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Compensation:$20 - $21 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC equipment to identify necessary repairs, replacements, and maintenance.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to help ensure reliable and efficient system operation.
- Respond promptly and professionally to urgent service and maintenance needs.
- Diagnose system issues using technical knowledge, experience, schematics, and appropriate testing equipment.
- Perform on-site repairs, adjustments, and system calibrations as needed.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system conditions, recommended repairs, replacement options, and preventative maintenance.
- Recommend preventative maintenance plans, indoor air quality solutions, and other appropriate products or services based on customer needs.
- Complete required service documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Follow all company safety procedures, industry standards, and applicable safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in HVAC service, maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and schematics.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical system issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to clearly explain technical information and service recommendations to customers.
- Ability to perform repairs accurately and complete required service documentation.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism, safety, and attention to detail.
