Role and Responsibilities


  • Maintain organization of staff through effective recruiting, testing, and interviewing processes.

  • Advise administration on candidate selection and evaluate interview outcomes.

  • Prepare employees for success by developing and delivering orientation and training programs.

  • Oversee performance management by training supervisors in coaching and discipline techniques, scheduling management conferences, addressing grievances, and supporting supervisors in employee counseling.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between management/administration and employees to promote clear and effective communication.

  • Support management with corrective action, conflict resolution, and workplace incident response.

  • Manage and maintain employee scheduling for active clients, ensuring optimal staffing coverage and operational efficiency.

  • Proactively track and monitor employee availability, ensuring schedules are completed and filled at least two weeks in advance.

  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts in a timely manner.

  • Ensure continuity of care by coordinating last-minute schedule adjustments when needed.

  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and reports to support operational planning.

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including empathetic listening and persuasive communication.

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications and Education Requirements


  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred

  • Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in a HR role, ideally in healthcare setting.

  • Proven ability to read, write, and follow detailed instructions.

  • Demonstrated maturity and ability to handle complex job demands.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking abilities.

  • Effective interpersonal communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to participate in professional development meetings as directed.

  • Must pass a criminal history check prior to employment.

  • Ability to work under close supervision to ensure competency in HR and scheduling duties.

  • Capacity to manage stressful situations related to workload and staffing needs.

  • Commitment to maintaining an agreed-upon work schedule.

  • Professional appearance and good personal hygiene.

  • Ability to commit to set schedule 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST Monday–Friday.

  • This is a full-time position.
