Warehouse Worker

Fishmongers of Michigan dba Bayo Food is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support day-to-day warehouse operations in Grand Rapids, MI.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Worker role is responsible for helping ensure efficient, accurate movement of products and materials within the warehouse. You will support receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, takes pride in accuracy, and can perform physical work in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and help identify discrepancies or damaged goods.

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment while following established procedures.

• Stock and organize inventory in designated locations to maintain accuracy and accessibility.

• Operate warehouse equipment as needed and follow all safety guidelines at all times.

• Maintain a clean, orderly workspace and support ongoing process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding warehouse duties, including standing, lifting, bending, and moving items throughout the shift.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory handling.

• Willingness to follow safety procedures and operational standards consistently.

• Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work full-time onsite.

• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and labels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics experience.

• Experience working in a high-volume environment where speed and accuracy both matter.

• Familiarity with inventory organization practices such as cycle counts or locating product by label.

• Comfort using standard handheld devices or warehouse systems for scanning and tracking.

• Team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate across shifts.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $18.00
