Location: West Chester, PA — primarily in-office during normal business hours, with the potential to work hybrid a few days per week depending on circumstances. Candidates relocating to the area should be prepared to fund their own relocation costs.

Note: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3+ years of experience preparing federal and state corporate and individual income tax returns are required. CPA or EA credentials and UltraTax experience are preferred but not required.

Job Description

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local corporate and individual income tax returns.
  • Apply current tax laws and regulations to prepare accurate and effective tax filings.
  • Communicate directly with clients and firm partners regarding tax matters, questions, and deliverables.
  • Build trusted client relationships through responsive, professional communication.
  • Work independently while collaborating with the broader accounting team.
  • Manage multiple tax engagements, deadlines, and client needs with accuracy and organization.
  • Stay current on tax law changes and continuously strengthen technical tax knowledge.
  • Take on increasing responsibility with a long-term opportunity to move into management and oversee a book of business.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional tax preparation experience.
  • Experience preparing federal and state individual and corporate income tax returns.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • Working knowledge of current tax laws and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent designation is a plus.
  • UltraTax experience is a plus.
