Part-Time Seasonal Holiday Lighting TechnicianHumbug Holiday Lighting of Sioux Empire is looking for dependable, hard-working individuals to join our team for the 2026 holiday lighting season!

If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team, and seeing the results of your work at the end of the day, this could be a great seasonal opportunity. You’ll help us transform homes and businesses throughout the Sioux Empire with professional holiday lighting displays.

No holiday lighting experience is required — we provide training!


What You'll Do

• Install professional holiday lighting and decorations on homes and businesses.
• Work on rooflines, trees, shrubs, wreaths, garland, and other holiday displays.
• Safely use ladders, lifts, hand tools, and installation equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting, repairs, and service calls throughout the season.
• Follow installation plans and pay close attention to detail.
• Keep job sites, vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Work with your crew to complete installations safely and efficiently.
• Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with customers.
• Assist with holiday light takedowns and organization after the season.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Dependable and ready to work.
• Comfortable working outdoors in changing South Dakota weather.
• Comfortable working on ladders and at heights.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Able to follow directions and work well as part of a crew.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Previous experience with construction, roofing, landscaping, electrical work, ladders, or outdoor labor is helpful, but not required.
  
  

Schedule

This is a part-time seasonal position during our busy holiday lighting season.

• Primarily September through early December, with takedown work continuing after the holidays.
• Hours may vary depending on weather and installation schedules.
• Daytime, evening, and weekend availability may be available.
• Additional hours may be available during peak installation weeks.
