Assistant Director of Nursing Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards of care
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to licensed and unlicensed nursing staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality care and safety for residents
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction surveys, and other ongoing quality improvement activities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, accreditation standards, and company policies and procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, including but not limited to staff performance evaluations, incident reports, and quality indicators
Assistant Director of Nursing Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Prior experience in a long-term care setting
Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
