Part-Time Counselor (24 Hrs a week Lansdale)Location: Lansdale, PA (On-site)Schedule: Thursday & Friday 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM; Saturday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (24 hours/week)Status: Part-Time | ExemptReports to: Director of CounselingPosition SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Counselor to provide trauma-informed counseling services to survivors of domestic violence. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals on their path to healing through both individual and group counseling.This position is fully on-site at our Lansdale location and primarily requires evening and weekend availability.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual counseling services to survivors of domestic violence, including community members and shelter residentsFacilitate support groups in a safe, supportive, and empowering environmentSchedule appointments and respond to participant communications in a timely mannerCollaborate with external service providers (with proper consent) to support holistic careParticipate in weekly supervision with the Director of CounselingAttend staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative team environmentMaintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational and legal standardsComplete continuing education and accrue clinical hours toward licensure (if applicable)Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsMaster's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related fieldLicensure (LPC, LSW, LCSW, etc.) preferred, but not requiredExperience working with trauma survivors, preferably in domestic violence or crisis settingsStrong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) training certification (or willingness to complete during onboarding)What We OfferMeaningful, mission-driven work supporting survivorsClinical supervision and supportOpportunity to accrue licensure hours (if applicable)Professional development and training opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive team environmentEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage candidates of all backgrounds to apply.How to ApplySubmit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and interest in working with survivors of domestic violence on indeed or at www.laurelhouse.org
