Are you passionate about creating engaging experiences for seniors? Do you have a knack for planning exciting activities that bring joy to others? We're seeking a talented and dedicated Activity Director to join our team at Homestead of Louisburg, a senior living community in Louisburg, Kansas.
About the Role:
As the Activity Director, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities, events, and programs that cater to their unique needs and interests. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care and experience.
Responsibilities:
Plan and organize activities, events, and programs for our residents, including large group, small group, and individual participation
Compose monthly contributions, including the monthly Activities calendar, pass out newsletter, post daily contributions on menu board, and pass out name tags
Provide plant and pet care
Participate in Department in-service training
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care
