Mechanical Reliability Technician -- Welding & Machine Tool Rebuilds

Your impact- Drive a culture of safety and accountability
- Hunt down faults in hydraulic and pneumatic systems and restore them to spec
- Weld, fabricate, torch cut, and handle light carpentry to support repairs and improvements
- Execute preventive maintenance on schedule to prevent unplanned downtime
- Independently install, maintain, repair, and rebuild complicated machine tools, special-purpose machinery, and plant equipment
- Disassemble problem assets, scope the work, and repair/refit/replace worn parts
- Contribute to both heavy equipment service and building maintenance
- Use mechanical blueprints and schematics to guide accurate work
- Other duties as assigned
- Education: High school diploma or GED; additional industrial maintenance training/degree preferred
- Experience: 3–5 years as a heavy industrial millwright or mechanical maintenance technician; 5+ years welding/fabrication with SMAW, MIG, and TIG
- Certifications: Provided during new-hire orientation
- Communicates clearly, listens well, and collaborates
- Confident with math used in the trade (whole numbers, fractions, decimals)
- Applies sound reasoning to follow and convey written/oral instructions
