Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dietary Manager to join our team at Serenity Estates of Morris, a senior living community that prioritizes the holistic wellbeing of our residents. As a Dietary Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences that nourish both body and soul.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of our dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation

• Develop and maintain a nutritionally balanced and appealing dining program that meets the diverse needs of our residents

• Collaborate with our culinary team to create customized dining experiences that cater to individual preferences, dietary restrictions, and cultural backgrounds

• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, industry standards, and company policies and procedures

• Conduct regular quality control assessments to maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen

• Supervise and train dietary staff, ensuring effective communication and a positive work environment

• Develop and manage budgets and inventory control systems to optimize food costs and minimize waste

• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in dietary management, culinary arts, or a related field

• Strong knowledge of nutrition and food safety principles

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

• Familiarity with dietary software and electronic medical records (EMRs)
