Assistant Director of Nursing Educator

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff, addressing knowledge gaps and skills deficits
Design and deliver comprehensive training sessions, workshops, and in-service programs to improve nursing practice and promote a culture of excellence
Conduct needs assessments, evaluates program effectiveness, and recommends updates or modifications to ensure program relevance and impact
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting active participation, open communication, and constructive feedback
Assist the DON in managing day-to-day nursing department operations
Supervise nursing staff and provide clinical guidance and support
Ensure accurate, timely documentation and reporting
Participate in clinical leadership on-call rotation
Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and staff evaluations
Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
Support disciplinary processes as needed
Promote teamwork and a positive work environment

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in long-term care (required)
Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Long-Term Care (LTC) required
Strong knowledge of infection control standards and nursing best practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
