Salary: Up to $115,000 per year
The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our clinical leadership team. As the RN Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit, mentor nursing staff, and help ensure the highest standards of quality care, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction.
ResponsibilitiesManage the daily operations of an assigned nursing unit.
Supervise, coach, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
Ensure residents receive individualized, high-quality nursing care.
Monitor resident conditions and promptly address changes in clinical status.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
Conduct daily clinical rounds and respond to resident and family concerns.
Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation.
Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and care plan meetings.
Promote compliance with CMS, New York State Department of Health, and facility policies.
Support infection prevention, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives.
Maintain survey readiness and assist during state and federal surveys.
Foster a positive, supportive, and team-oriented work environment.
Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Rehabilitation Center, or Long-Term Care setting preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
