As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, while also supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Make written and oral reports regarding resident care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as necessary, maintaining accurate records and charts.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, focusing on resident-centered care.
Requirements
Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
Current CPR Certification is required.
Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
