Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Unit Manager to join nursing & rehab center. The Unit Manager will play a crucial role in leading and coordinating the delivery of resident care services on their assigned unit.
Unit Manager Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned unit, including staffing, resident care, and regulatory compliance.
Supervise and support nursing staff, including LPNs, RNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), to ensure the highest standards of care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
Monitor resident assessments, medication administration, and treatment plans to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, address concerns, and ensure quality of care.
Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering a positive work environment and professional growth opportunities.
Unit Manager Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
