Nursing Home Van Driver

As a facility Van Driver your primary purpose is to safely transport residents to medical appointments, keep the Facility’s vehicle working properly and in clean condition, and any other responsibilities as may be directed by your Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

· Transport residents to medical appointments according to established schedules and allotted times.

· Assist residents entering and exiting the Facility’s vehicle.

· Drive Facility’s vehicle to events and activities outside the Facility, as necessary.

· Coordinate with Facility medical and nursing personnel regarding transporting residents to scheduled medical appointments..

· Ensure that emergency equipment (i.e. triangles, fire extinguisher, and first-aid kit) are available and in good working condition.

· Maintain an incident and accident free driving record.

Job Requirements

· Valid state drivers license

· One (1) year experience operating a Company vehicle.

· Must have a clean driving record.
