2nd Shift Warehouse Worker

This position will start and train on first and you will be moved to 2nd after training is complete.

Duties

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Set parameters, adjust settings, and monitor packaging equipment
  • Ensure products are properly packaged, labeled, and palletized
  • Manage warehouse inventory to ensure finished product and packaging materials are stored safely and organized effectively
  • Work in collaboration with shift millers to schedule material transfers efficiently to minimize down time
  • Inventory control of packaging materials and pallets
  • Inspect trucks for sanitation and structural integrity
  • Ensure inbound / outbound trucks are properly sealed
  • Safely operate a forklift to transport palletized goods
  • Document key monitoring and verification activities including food safety controls
  • Routine cleaning and maintenance activities
  • Comply with all food safety and workplace safety policies
  • Provide feedback to supervisor on facility and system improvement opportunities
  • Observe and report any unusual activity regarding site security
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Occasional flexibility to work other shifts, weekends, or extended hours may be required to provide coverage during vacations, absences, or increased business demands

Physical Demands

  • Ability to walk, climb, bend and reach overhead frequently
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work safely from a ladder frequently
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds on occasion
  • General cleaning
  • General maintenance and repair
