About This Role

Little Owls Child Care Center is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and dependable Infant Teacher to create a safe and engaging environment for children from 0 to 2 years old. This role requires a passion for working with infants and toddlers, supporting early childhood development, and collaborating with families and staff to meet each child's unique needs.



What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement daily care plans to ensure the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of infants and toddlers aged 0–2.
  • Support children with daily routines, including diaper changing, toileting, and hygiene needs.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, adhering to individual dietary requirements and schedules.
  • Plan and execute engaging, age-appropriate activities, curriculum, and outings that promote learning through play, music, and sensory experiences.
  • Establish a secure, organized, and clean classroom environment that prioritizes children's safety and well-being.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and staff regarding children's daily activities, progress, and development.
  • Ensure the safe transportation of children during outdoor activities, such as walks and playground time.
  • Perform various tasks as assigned by the Center Director to maintain the highest standards of childcare and education.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to sit, bend, kneel, and move actively throughout the day
  • Ability to supervise children both indoors and outdoors
  • Must be patient, nurturing, and dependable
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred
  • Must be able to pass required background checks
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Ideal candidates will have experience working with infants and toddlers, be CPR/First Aid certified, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
