Receptionist Needed For New Convenient Care at Turning Stone OfficeRome Health is seeking two organized and customer-focused Receptionists to join our healthcare team at our beautiful new Convenient Care at Turning Stone office in Oneida, New York. This position plays an essential role in supporting physicians, advanced practice providers, staff, and patients by ensuring smooth front desk and administrative operations in a fast-paced medical environment.Position SummaryThe Receptionist provides administrative and front office support to physicians and physician extenders while delivering exceptional customer service to patients and families. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to multitask efficiently, and demonstrates professionalism and teamwork in all interactions.ResponsibilitiesEnsure reception area and front desk operations are fully functional and organizedSchedule and confirm patient appointments, follow-ups, and physician referralsPrepare charts and documentation for upcoming appointmentsRegister patients according to Rome Health policies and proceduresMaintain patient confidentiality and privacy standardsProvide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staffManage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environmentQualificationsHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. required2–3 years of receptionist experience preferredExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and EmailStrong communication and multitasking skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent organizational and follow-up skillsBasic knowledge of insurance authorization requirements preferredKnowledge & SkillsKnowledge of patient privacy and confidentiality practicesStrong attention to detail and professionalismAbility to collaborate effectively as part of a teamAbout Rome HealthRome Health is a non-profit healthcare system serving patients throughout Central New York.
