Full-Time Infant Teacher/ Stephenson, VA

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Infant teacher to join our Golden Path Academy team. Located in a state-of-the-art facility, our program is committed to excellence and provides a nurturing environment for children to thrive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging educational programs that foster a love for learning in children aged 12-16 months. Join our exceptional team of educators at Golden Path Academy and take on the rewarding role of a Lead Teacher! As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to our youngest learners. You will create and implement engaging curriculum and activities, while building strong relationships with children, colleagues, and parents. In addition to teaching, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing lesson plans that meet the needs of our students

• Communicate with parents daily using a school provided application
• Maintain positive relationships with parents
• Track individual child development and complete bi-annual progress reports
• Maintain a safe organized classroom environment
• Other duties include, but are not limited to, providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students

• And must meet *one* of the following:
• Have a bachelor's degree in a child-related field
• Have 6 months of supervised program experience and 24 hours of approved training.
• Have 48 semester hours of college credit of which 12 hours are in child-related subjects and one year of program experience
• Have 3 months of program experience and an early childhood certificate or CDA.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have fulfilled a high school program or the equivalent
