We are seeking an energetic and experienced Teacher to join our team! As a Teacher at the Huntington Learning Center, you will instruct students one on one or in a small group of 3 to 4 students, instructing a comprehensive educational curriculum designed by the Huntington team of Directors. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!

Responsibilities:

• Instruct students on the Huntington curriculum that meets school standards
• Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills
• Grade in class assignments and provide feedback
• Document students’ learning progress
• Collaborate with the team to create a productive learning environment
• Report and document behavioral incidents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Texas teaching certification (recommended)
• Previous experience teaching k-12 students
• Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education
• Ability to closely adhere to the Huntington curriculum guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
