Position Summary Moorings Park is seeking a dedicated and talented Move Specialist to join our team. This role contributes directly to our mission by delivering exceptional service and supporting the well-being of our residents, families, and fellow partners. The Move Specialist provides administrative, logistical, and operational support to the Move-In Coordinator and assists with residence readiness, move scheduling, documentation, vendor coordination, and move-day logistics.
Key Contributions
- Assists with apartment turnover and move-in readiness inspections.
- Maintains standardized move readiness checklists and tracking tools.
- Coordinates internally with Facilities, Housekeeping, Dining, Security, IT, and other departments.
- Coordinates elevator reservations, deliveries, and vendor access.
- Tracks punch-list items and communicates status updates to the Move-In Coordinator.
- Supports move-in day logistics and apartment preparation.
- Maintains move-in and move-out schedules and documentation.
- Assists with inventory management and administrative reporting.
- Prepares keys, access credentials, welcome materials, and move-in packets.
- Manages key pick-up, issuance, and accountability processes to ensure secure and timely resident access.
- Coordinates vendor scheduling, building access, and service activities in support of apartment readiness and resident move-ins.
- Assists with the resident welcome experience by greeting new residents with excellent customer service, providing move-in information, and supporting a smooth transition into the community.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required.
- During emergencies or natural disasters, may be required to remain on duty for the duration of the event.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of relevant hospitality, customer service, senior living, facilities or coordination experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication and computer skills.
