System Support Technician
  • Pay: $25–$27/hour
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
  • Duration: 6–12 month contract

Job Details
BioPhase Solutions is looking for a System Support Technician to support the Global Systems Support team of a leading life sciences company. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career candidate interested in gaining hands-on experience working with laboratory instrumentation.

Responsibilities
  • Perform extended burn-in and reliability testing on laboratory instrumentation.
  • Run instruments continuously or through extended test cycles to verify system stability and performance.
  • Monitor instruments for hardware, software, communication, and operational errors.
  • Confirm systems perform consistently under normal and simulated operating conditions.
  • Identify and document intermittent issues that may not appear during shorter functional testing.
  • Interact with instrument hardware and software and perform basic troubleshooting.
  • Complete testing, verification, failure, and quality documentation accurately.
  • Assist with installation, qualification, troubleshooting, and release activities.
  • Work with Global Systems Support, Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Service teams to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Follow applicable SOPs, work instructions, safety requirements, and quality procedures.
Qualifications
  • Recent graduate or early-career candidate with coursework or experience in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Bioengineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment or instrumentation through school, internships, research, or professional work preferred.
  • Comfortable working with hardware and software and learning new technical systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and communicate findings clearly.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
This position is ideal for someone looking to build hands-on experience with sophisticated laboratory instrumentation in a regulated life sciences environment.
