Emish Market is a Ukrainian grocery store located in Fife, WA, offering a wide selection of imported goods from Ukraine and other European countries. In addition to our market, we operate a full-service café, bakery, and meat department, preparing fresh Ukrainian dishes, pastries, and specialty meats daily. Our mission is to create a warm, authentic, and memorable experience for every guest.We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our customers and staff across the market, café, bakery, and production areas. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and working independently.What You'll DoWash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashers and by hand when neededEnsure all dishes and equipment are properly sanitized and storedMaintain a clean and organized dishwashing station at all timesAssist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and support tasks as neededTake out trash and recycling from kitchen areas regularlyFollow all food safety and sanitation proceduresWork Schedule: Wed - Thu 4:00 pm - 12:30 am, Fri - Sun 7:00 am - 3:30 pmPay & Compensation: $18-19 per hourBenefits:We offer competitive employee benefits including paid sick leave (1 hour per 40 hours worked), partial employer-covered medical insurance (75% for full-time employees), and paid vacation: 1 week after 1 year of employment and 2 weeks after 2 years.Required QualificationsPrevious dishwasher experience preferred but not requiredAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessAbility to follow safety and sanitation proceduresAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasksReliability, punctuality, and strong work ethicAbility to work weekends and flexible shiftsIf you take pride in keeping spaces clean and welcoming, we would love to have you join our team!
