Fire Extinguisher/Kitchen Hood Technician

LHR Fire Protection, part of the Altus Fire & Life Safey family of companies, is looking for a Fire Extinguisher/Kitchen Hood Technician to join our team!

Hourly Rate: $45.00/ hour - $60.00/hourResponsibilities

• Fire extinguisher and kitchen hood installation and inspection
• Pick up and delivery of needed material
• Perform work in compliance with NFPA standards, and company procedures
• Diagnose system issues and complete repairs as needed
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time
• Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good condition
• Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA standards

Required Skills

• Experience: At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with kitchen hood suppression systems
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with inspection and fire extinguisher code.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Mass license for portable fire extinguishers and pre-engineered fixed systems
