POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of the Warehouse Technician is to accurately, timely, and safely move product to complete daily pick lists and shipments while ensuring inventory accuracy. This position will uphold Jackson’s standards of continuous commitment to customer satisfaction, both internal and external.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following statements reflect the general details necessary to describe the major functions of this position and are not intended to be a detailed description of all the work/functions that may be required. Other duties may be assigned. Individual will work a varied schedule based on client needs.
Setup and stage load as outlined in daily pick lists per shipping and receiving manifests.
Completion of paperwork to ensure inventory and shipment accuracy and timeliness according to daily shipping and receiving plans.
Perform all computer transactions daily to ensure proper visibility and accuracy in the warehouse dispatch and inventory systems.
Maintain a safe and orderly work area per Jackson’s policy including daily forklift and warehouse safety inspections.
Store products in a safe, orderly fashion according to standard operating procedures
Effectively move material throughout the facility.
Prepare shipping and receiving documents in accordance with applicable SOP's including waste documents, storage, and handling.
Fulfill and organize orders to ensure customer delivery process is efficient and accurate.
Utilize forklift to safely transport warehouse goods.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
At least three to Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1 year experience working in the food manufacturing industry is preferred
