This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week, with some evening and weekend hours. (with some benefits)
Duties
Summary:
The temporary part-time Family Spirit Home Visitor provides primarily telehealth services, with occasional in-home visits, to support pregnant individuals, new parents, and families. Responsibilities include promoting prenatal and postpartum health, infant development, safe sleep practices, and parent education; connecting families to healthcare, housing, food, childcare, doula services, and other community resources; and maintaining accurate documentation and program records in accordance with agency standards.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
At least 2–3 years of experience working with communities and families in a community-based setting. Candidates must demonstrate cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Experience working with pregnant individuals, infants, parents, and families in culturally responsive settings is strongly preferred. The selected candidate must complete the required Family Spirit training through Johns Hopkins University. The position also requires the ability to work independently, reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
