NEMT Driver- DMV area

About the Role:
Swift Business Solutions LLC is looking for a reliable and compassionate NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) Driver to serve the DMV area out of Brandywine, MD. Responsibilities:

• Safely transport passengers to and from non-emergency medical appointments throughout the DMV area
• Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing wheelchairs or mobility devices
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and documentation for each transport
• Adhere to all scheduled pick-up and drop-off times to ensure punctual service
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, medical staff, and passengers
• Follow all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record
• Previous NEMT, medical transport, or passenger transport experience preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong knowledge of the DMV area roads and navigation tools
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor when working with elderly or disabled passengers
• Ability to lift and assist passengers, including wheelchair handling
