We are looking for an experienced Avionics / Electronics Repair Technician to perform troubleshooting, testing, repair, and overhaul of electronic and avionics components in a FAR Part 145 repair station.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience repairing electronic or avionics equipment, can read technical documentation and schematics, and is comfortable using electronic test equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic and avionics components to the board/component level.
  • Inspect incoming parts and review technical documentation.
  • Perform testing, diagnosis, repair, and final inspection of components.
  • Use electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering equipment, and other bench-test tools.
  • Prepare repaired products for return to service and complete required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate test results, repair records, traceability, and other quality documentation.
  • Follow company procedures, technical manuals, and applicable FAA requirements.
  • Complete required annual and recurrent training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in electronics or avionics installation and repair.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical schematics, drawings, manuals, and work instructions.
  • Experience using electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial or military aviation/avionics experience.
  • Experience working with ELTs (Emergency Locator Transmitters) is highly desirable.
  • Experience reading Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), drawings, and schematics.
  • Experience working in or with an FAA/FAR Part 145 repair station.
  • Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent military electronics training.
  • Previous experience in Aviation OEM environments is a plus.
