Hybrid 3 days/week in either Concord, CA or San Francisco, CA
Our client seeks a mid-to-senior level Python Developer to support enterprise data center migration initiatives with a focus on monitoring tools and AI-driven automation. The role involves building high-quality applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and enhancing observability and reliability across systems in a regulated financial environment.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $65.00 to $75.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Python and/or Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and robust solutions.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk Observability, and Elastic to ensure performance and reliability.
- Apply knowledge of OTEL SPLOC.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Implement and maintain best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in AI and machine learning.
- Contribute to the design and development of AI-driven features and enhancements.
- Proven experience as a software developer with strong proficiency in Python and Java.
- Hands-on experience with AppDynamics, Splunk Observability, and Elastic.
- At least 2 years of AI experience in Claude and Cursor; Devin is a nice to have.
- Linux working experience.
- Financial services or regulated environment experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
