Job Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data within company systems while ensuring high levels of quality and confidentiality. This role involves reviewing source documents, verifying information for accuracy, and correcting errors to maintain reliable records. The associate organizes and prioritizes data for efficient processing, generates reports, and ensures proper storage and backup of completed work. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming materials, components, and packages

  • Prepare and generate shipping documentation, including labels and bills of lading, in alignment with company requirements

  • Coordinate with couriers andlogisticspartners to supporttimelypickups and deliveries

  • Load and unload trucks safely, following all material Handling procedures

  • Distribute received materials toappropriate departmentsand secure required signatures

  • Store and organize materials on shelves or designated locations tomaintaininventory accuracy

  • Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders with attention to accuracy, stock rotation, and cost effectivepackaging

  • Maintain inventory of shipping supplies, and keep the warehouse and equipment clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or a warehouse environment, including use of material Handlingequipment and a valid forklift operator license

  • Proficiencywith basic computer applications and shipping software (e.g., UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS)

  • Ability to perform physical tasks,liftupto 40lbs.,andfollow safety procedures

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast? Paced, repetitive manufacturing environment

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferences:

  • Prior work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to lean or continuous Improvement practices

  • Experience performing cycle counts or supporting inventoryAccuracy initiatives

  • Experience using an inventory management system

  • Associate’s degree

  • Forklift Licensed
  • High School / GED
  • Basic Computer Skills
