Childcare Director

Lee Hill Early Learning Center is seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Childcare Center Director to lead our program. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who values high-quality early childhood education, builds positive relationships with families and staff, and is committed to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for children.

• Oversee all aspects of center operations, including staffing, enrollment, and program management.
• Ensure compliance with New Hampshire childcare licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development opportunities for teachers.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive workplace culture.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and community partners.
• Manage enrollment, tours, and family communications.
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that support program quality.
• Monitor classroom environments and curriculum implementation.
• Collaborate with the school board and leadership team to achieve program goals.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and operational resources as assigned.

Must meet New Hampshire licensing requirements for a Childcare Center Director.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Previous leadership or management experience in a childcare or educational setting preferred.

Strong knowledge of state licensing regulations and best practices in early childhood education.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
