Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team at the Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility. Responsibilities

• Collecting soiled laundry from residents' rooms and transporting it to the laundering facility

• Washing, drying, and folding laundry in commercial machines

• Distributing clean laundry to residents

• Delivering soiled linens to the laundry, sorting, washing, and returning clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms

• Cleaning laundry and equipment areas

Requirements

• Previous experience in laundry, preferably in a healthcare setting

• Knowledge of infection control practices

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Compassionate and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues
