We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:As the Montclair State University Ice Arena's Scoreboard Operator, you will assist in the execution of the all games by operating scoreboards and tracking minutes played.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Assure all players are checked in and present on official score sheetsTrack all relevant statistics on the scoreboard during gamesTrack minutes played for all players using assigned sheetsAssist in game preparations/clean up as neededWork closely with League team members to ensure member satisfactionComplete any other special projects and daily assignments as directed by the General ManagerMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diplomaExperience operating a scoreboard preferredBasic reading and writing skills are requiredMust have an understanding of basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionGeneral knowledge of the sports industryAbility to resolve conflicts in a professional, tactful mannerWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoorsMay be required to squat, stoop or bendWill be required to operate a computerFacility has intermittent noise
