Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Pay: $25.00-$30.00/hour
- LMA - leads, manages and holds accountable all direct reports
- Monitors efficiency and productivity to ensure expectations are met or exceeded
- Provides training on equipment
- Provides hands-on trouble shooting assistance
- Communicates the daily schedule to the production team
- Conducts regular coaching (formal and JIT)
- Meets or exceeds department KPI’s
- Safety, Quality, Efficiency, 5S
- Facilitates continuous improvement processes to create efficiency and reduce costs
- Effectively utilizes MRP software for planning and scheduling
- Sets up jobs in accordance with departmental needs to ensure maximum efficiency and quality
- Limits job write offs with regards to material and equipment usage
- Ensures that all materials are available and ready for fabrication at the machine location
- Performs first-piece inspection for all new fabrication runs, when necessary
- Ensures that dies are maintained and stored properly; moves dies between equipment and die racks
- Ensures that preventative maintenance is current and performs maintenance functions as necessary
- Involvement throughout the shop as a resource for others, providing guidance and direction
- Enforces safety policies and practices to ensure culture of health and safety; identifies safety hazards and works with management team on corrective actions
Requirements
- Associates degree (AA) in a technical discipline and 1-2 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency working in a computer supported environment with business software and Microsoft office programs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, use simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools
- Mechanical/technical aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow; able to multi-task
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Physical Requirements:
- Continual use of hands; constant standing, walking, reaching, bending and lifting
- Clear close vision and ability to identify and distinguish color variations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
