Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Pay: $25.00-$30.00/hour

  • LMA - leads, manages and holds accountable all direct reports
    • Monitors efficiency and productivity to ensure expectations are met or exceeded
    • Provides training on equipment
    • Provides hands-on trouble shooting assistance
    • Communicates the daily schedule to the production team
    • Conducts regular coaching (formal and JIT)
  • Meets or exceeds department KPI’s
    • Safety, Quality, Efficiency, 5S
  • Facilitates continuous improvement processes to create efficiency and reduce costs
  • Effectively utilizes MRP software for planning and scheduling
  • Sets up jobs in accordance with departmental needs to ensure maximum efficiency and quality
  • Limits job write offs with regards to material and equipment usage
  • Ensures that all materials are available and ready for fabrication at the machine location
  • Performs first-piece inspection for all new fabrication runs, when necessary
  • Ensures that dies are maintained and stored properly; moves dies between equipment and die racks
  • Ensures that preventative maintenance is current and performs maintenance functions as necessary
  • Involvement throughout the shop as a resource for others, providing guidance and direction
  • Enforces safety policies and practices to ensure culture of health and safety; identifies safety hazards and works with management team on corrective actions

Requirements

  • Associates degree (AA) in a technical discipline and 1-2 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency working in a computer supported environment with business software and Microsoft office programs
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, use simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow; able to multi-task
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

Physical Requirements:

  • Continual use of hands; constant standing, walking, reaching, bending and lifting
  • Clear close vision and ability to identify and distinguish color variations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
