Material Handler / Water Spider (2nd Shift)

Waco, TX | $20.00/Hour | Temp-to-Hire
Crouch Staffing Solutions is hiring Material Handlers (Water Spiders) for a busy logistics and manufacturing warehouse in Waco, Texas. This is a 2nd shift, temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent employment after 520 successful hours.
As a Water Spider, you'll play a vital role in supporting production by delivering materials and completed kits to assembly lines, ensuring employees always have the parts they need to keep production running efficiently.
Schedule
  • Monday – Friday
  • 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Paid 30-minute lunch
  • Two paid 15-minute breaks
Pay
  • $20.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities
  • Transport completed kits and pallets of parts to designated production lines
  • Deliver materials to assemblers quickly and accurately to keep production running smoothly
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move materials throughout the warehouse
  • Move materials by hand when necessary
  • Remove empty pallets, containers, and packaging from production areas
  • Monitor inventory levels at production lines and replenish materials as needed
  • Communicate with production team members regarding material needs
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
  • Follow all warehouse and safety procedures
  • Assist with other warehouse and material handling duties as assigned

  • Have previous warehouse, material handling, forklift, pallet jack, or production support experience
  • Are dependable with excellent attendance
  • Have strong organizational and communication skills
  • Enjoy staying active and on the move throughout the shift
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous forklift experience preferred
  • Experience operating electric or manual pallet jacks is a plus
  • Manufacturing or logistics experience preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment
