Assistant Teacher

The Teacher Assistant fosters a nurturing and secure environment for children, collaborating with the Teacher to enhance education and relationships. The role requires effective communication, active listening, and teamwork in a dynamic environment. By monitoring children's interests and progress, the Teacher Assistant informs parents and staff, while implementing developmentally relevant activities guided by the Teacher and Director.

• Support the implementation of curricula activities, encouraging children's participation and engagement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped classroom, ensuring activities are accessible and safe.
• Ensure a smooth daily transition from home to the child care center, promoting a seamless start to the day.
• Adhere to all center policies and state regulations, upholding high standards.
• Develop a personalized professional development plan to continually enhance skills and quality of care.

• Ability to work well with others.
• High energy.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• An understanding of child development.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
