As a Residential Care Aide Evening Shift at Deer Meadows, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. Our state-of-the-art facility offers a warm and welcoming environment, with a focus on promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

About the Residential Care Aide Role:

  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Support residents with medication management, mealtime assistance, and mobility needs

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions

Residential Care Aide Responsibilities:

  • Assist with evening meal service and resident care activities

  • Monitor resident vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team

  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident care and services

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of community and belonging

Residential Care Aide Requirements:

  • Prior experience preferred, but not required

  • Must be available to work from 3pm-11pm

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

  • Demonstrated dedication to providing exceptional care and support to seniors

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
