Compensation & Benefits

· Competitive pay ($17.00-$20.00 an hour)-Note: Pay may vary by location, level of training and type of shift

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, transferring.

  • Assisting with the use of devices for aid in daily living (cane, walker, wheelchair or lift device)

  • Coordinating transportation or transporting client(s) to/from appt's, groceries, outings

  • Reporting any changes with client(s) to office staff.

  • Help with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment.

  • Assisting with Organization

  • Medication Reminders

  • Prepare a home cooked meal - (you don’t need to be a gourmet chef)

  • Provide Companionship: accompany client(s) on walks, trips to social events, assistance with hobbies, or run an errand

  • Reinforcement of dressings (non-sterile)

  • Follow personalized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

    Qualifications

    • Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate

    • Some experience preferred, but not required -experience in dementia or memory care is a plus!

    • Read, write, speak and understand English is required

    • Valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation is preferred

    • Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting or assisting with mobility.

    • Respect for client privacy and confidentiality.
