Early Childhood Educators

• Supervise and care for a group of children in a classroom setting, providing a safe and engaging environment for their development
• Collaborate with the supervisor and teaching staff to develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that fosters creativity and learning
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents to ensure seamless support for our children
• Be flexible and supportive in responding to the needs of our center

Requirements (must have or obtain):

• Successful completion of the 30-hour STARS Child Care Basics Training
• Current certification in Basic First Aid and Infant/Child CPR
• MAT (Medication Administration Training) certification
• HIV/Bloodborne Pathogens Training
• Food Handler’s Permit
• TB test clearance
• Successful completion of a full background check.



Other essential skills:

• The ability to work effectively with diverse families, including those with unique backgrounds, cultural needs, and individual circumstances.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and other online platforms.

Desirable qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a child care teacher/caregiver, or an equivalent background OR
• AA/BA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field OR
• Progress toward the state-mandated requirements
