Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Engage children in hands-on activities that promote creativity and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive educational program.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Valid state teaching license or certification in early childhood education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Background check clearance required.
