Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our team.

We are looking for someone who can confidently manage the day-to-day functions of the business office while working collaboratively with facility leadership, residents, families, and our corporate support team.
What You'll DoAs the Business Office Manager, you will play an important role in the financial and administrative operations of the facility. Responsibilities include:
Manage resident accounts, billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes
Assist residents and families with billing questions and financial matters
Maintain accurate resident financial records and documentation
Coordinate Medicaid applications, pending Medicaid accounts, and required follow-up
Monitor outstanding balances and proactively manage collections
Complete deposits and maintain appropriate cash and financial controls
Work closely with Admissions to ensure financial information and required documentation are obtained during the admission process
Verify and maintain resident insurance and payer information
Coordinate with facility leadership and corporate billing/accounting teams
Prepare routine reports and monitor key business office metrics
Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and financial information
Ensure business office practices comply with company policies and applicable healthcare requirements
Previous Business Office Manager experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting strongly preferred
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private-pay billing processes preferred
Experience with accounts receivable and collections
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Comfortable communicating with residents and families regarding sensitive financial matters
Strong computer and administrative skills
Dependable, professional, positive, and team-oriented
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with facility and corporate leadership
