Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Business Intelligence Analyst will be reporting to the Manager, Business Intelligence. The purpose of this position is to support supply chain business analysis requirements, projects and initiatives. The supply chain analyst will work with business partners to design, implement tools & dashboards, and provide data analysis to assist partners with making strategic business decisions.   • Comfortable taking loosely defined business questions and translating them into clearly defined technical/data/report specifications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of data.
  • Proactive and assertive in follow-through with colleagues and business partners. 
  • Proven ability to effectively manage a wide variety of tasks simultaneously and often with time conflicting pressures.
  • Possess a sense of urgency and high attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise business communication.
  • Ability to think quantitatively and qualitatively about operating processes and outcomes.
  • Ability to understand and translate moderately technical concepts verbally and in writing.
  • An ability to evaluate complex issues and develop actionable plans
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A four-year college degree in Business or related field is required i.e. business, finance, math, economics.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an analytical role preferably in supply chain or logistics
  • Basic understanding of transportation, warehousing, supply-chain execution software and third-party logistics.
  • Experience with analytic software applications, i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Access, COGNOS
  • Experience with development of visuals and dashboards/scorecards using Power BI.
