Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Thrive Community Support Services (Thrive CSS) is currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a female individual with intellectual/developmental disabilities in Bucks County, PA.

This is a part-time opportunity (20 hours per week) providing 1:1 support in the home and community. We are looking for someone patient, reliable, and energetic who can build trust and provide consistent support.

This role is more than a job, it’s about connection, consistency, and helping someone live a safe and meaningful life.

• Provide 1:1 support in the home and community

• Assist with daily routines including meal prep, hygiene support, and household tasks

• Support engagement in community outings, walks, and preferred activities

• Help maintain a structured routine and positive environment

• Follow the individual’s support plan and safety guidelines

• Ensure safety, dignity, and respect at all times

• Communicate with the Thrive team and complete documentation

• Kind, patient, and dependable

• Comfortable providing hands-on support and redirection when needed

• Able to remain calm and attentive in all situations

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

• Ability to pass PA background clearances

• Experience with IDD preferred but not required (we provide training!)

• 20 hours per week (consistent schedule)

• Schedule will be coordinated with the family
