POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations and HR Coordinator to join our Maryland warehouse team. This dual-function role supports the day-to-day operations of the warehouse — including data entry, inventory, receiving, and order fulfillment support — while also serving as the on-site point of contact for basic Human Resources functions such as recruitment coordination, onboarding, and training compliance tracking. This position reports jointly to the Warehouse Manager and the Director of Human Resources, and offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career spanning both warehouse operations and Human Resources.

  • Assist pickers by organizing and preparing paperwork needed for order picking
  • Print and prepare PSO paperwork, including related data entry
  • Support Regent Express stock orders, including processing and fulfillment assistance

Human Resources Support:

  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment coordination, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, conducting pre-screening interviews and communicating with candidates
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding paperwork, including I-9/E-Verify processing
  • Help plan and facilitate new employee orientation for warehouse staff
  • Track and maintain required training and certification compliance records (e.g., OSHA, First Aid/CPR, defensive driving, forklift certification)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in ADP Workforce Now
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating employee training sessions
  • Support the HR Department with general administrative tasks, filing, and employee file maintenance
  • Serve as a first point of contact for basic employee questions, escalating more complex matters to the Director of HR
  • Assist with additional HR and operations projects and initiatives as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree a plus
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse/operations support and/or HR administrative support role
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism and discretion when interacting with employees
  • Comfortable splitting time between warehouse floor tasks and office/administrative HR duties

Preferred:

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a similar HCM/payroll system
  • Familiarity with warehouse inventory or order management systems
  • Prior exposure to recruiting, onboarding, or general HR coordination
  • Experience in cabinetry, millwork, or building products distribution a plus
