We are seeking polished, energetic, and service-driven Food Runners to join our team and help deliver the seamless execution and exceptional hospitality that define the Spago experience.

This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance dining environment and take pride in getting every detail right—from the kitchen pass to the guest's table.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver food from the kitchen to the guest with precision, urgency, and professionalism
  • Ensure every dish reaches the correct table promptly and is presented according to Spago's elevated service standards
  • Inspect plates for accuracy, presentation, and completeness after leaving the pass
  • Work closely with the culinary and Front-of-House teams to maintain seamless communication and service flow
  • Communicate guest requests, dietary restrictions, and allergies with absolute accuracy and urgency
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and presentations
  • Anticipate the needs of servers, guests, and the culinary team throughout service
  • Maintain pristine, organized, and fully stocked service stations
  • Assist servers and management in delivering a polished and seamless guest experience
  • Assist with clearing and resetting tables while maintaining proper service standards
  • Support dining room setup, breakdown, and special events as needed
  • Maintain composure, focus, and attention to detail during high-volume service
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years of Food Runner or Expo experience in a fine-dining restaurant
  • Experience in a Michelin-recognized, Michelin-level fine-dining environment strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of fine-dining service procedures and dining room operations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to execute quickly without sacrificing accuracy, presentation, or professionalism
  • Polished, confident, and guest-focused demeanor
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to anticipate needs and work proactively as part of a high-performing team
  • Ability to remain composed and organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds as needed
