Job Summary
Working inside our Napa beverage distribution center, the Warehouse Associate — Inventory Control is responsible for selecting, picking, and staging customer orders for next-day delivery while maintaining accurate inventory records throughout the facility. This is a fast-paced, physical role requiring strong attention to detail, consistent accuracy, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies. Primary Job Duties
Picking orders and properly labeling for staging and delivery.
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure system accuracy
Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning equipment
Receive, verify, and process inbound shipments; confirm quantities and product condition against purchase orders
Coordinate with the operations team to reconcile variances between physical counts and system records
Participate in problem-solving efforts to improve accuracy, efficiency, and cleanliness of the work area
Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts
Keep the work zone clean and orderly to maintain a safe warehouse environment
Communicate proactively with managers and supervisors regarding inventory issues, discrepancies, or operational concerns
Meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual output and accuracy metrics
Perform other duties as requested by management
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience, including pallet jack and forklift operation
Minimum 1 year of inventory control, cycle counting, or stock auditing experience preferred
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning strongly preferred
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in labeling, receiving, counting, and storing materials
Can be trained to achieve 90% competency within six (6) months
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
