Before and After School Site Director/Early Learning ProfessionalReady to lead with purpose?AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.As an AlphaBEST Site Director, you'll lead a meaningful before and after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive.We're looking for an early learning professional who:Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environmentFeels confident taking the lead and running a smooth programTakes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closelyIs flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever neededIn this role, you will:Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentationOversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectationsBuild a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standardsMake child safety the top priority at all timesMaintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspectionsTrack and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirementsSupervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are metRepresent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community eventsBuild strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student successRequirements:CPR and First Aid certification required. (can obtain post-employment)At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferredAbility to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)You must meet one of the following requirements: 1. Possess a current professional teaching license issued by the Colorado Department of Education with an endorsement in the area of Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or Early Childhood Special Education Specialist; 2. Possess a current Early Childhood Professional Credential Level II or higher in Version 3.0 as determined by the Department; 3. Current certification as a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in: Center-Based, Preschool; Center-Based, Infant-Toddler; or Family Child Care; or other Department-approved credential; 4. Two (2) years and nine (9) months (5,005 hours) of satisfactory experience in the care and supervision of four (4) or more children less than eight (8) years of age who are not related to the individual, and at least two (2) three (3)-semester credit hour courses from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, and one (1) of the courses must be either.Why Join Us?This isn't just a job - it's your next step forward.At AlphaBEST, we believe in boosting your potential.
