Inventory Specialist
Job Description
Downrange in Chico, CA is looking for one Inventory Specialist to join our 48 person strong team. We are located on 13407 Garner Ln.. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working. The Inventory Specialist is a professional responsible for checking shipments going in and out of the company and ensuring that all orders are received and shipped correctly.

Responsibilities
- Receives incoming deliveries by verifying and signing for shipments
- Inspects delivery shipments and compares packing lists to purchase orders, ensuring accurate deliveries
- Enter received items into inventory using electronic inventory controls
- Delivers and directs products to the correct department
- Processes all paperwork in a timely manner
- Monitors all pending and backordered items
- Maintains communication with customers and Vendors
Additional Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
- Communicate effectively with multiple warehouse departments
Physical Requirements for Performing Essential Duties
- Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 100% of the time is spent in varying work areas
- Speaking/Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate co-workers
- Vision: Ability to visualize items around the work area, able to assess weights, and judge distances and heights. Good eye-hand/foot coordination
- Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift/carry 50lbs by hand.
- Stooping/Kneeling: Ability to stoop and/or kneel to access locations as needed
- Reaching/Handling: Ability to retrieve and work with appropriate equipment and supplies.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Qualifications
- Communicates effectively and professionally
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in retail and/or inventory management processes
- Experience in Microsoft platforms and programs (Excel, Word, Teams etc.)
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- A keen eye for detail
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to acquire a DOJ Firearms COE
- California Drivers License (Real ID)
