Tire Technician
Job Description
Local leader in fleet service has immediate and full-time openings for a Commercial Tire/Shop Technician and a Route Service/Sales Technician. Experience is preferred but training is also provided. The right individuals will demonstrate an excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
These positions will at time require ability to operate service truck that is designed to fix and change tires on the road, administer fleet checks, repair or replacement of tires on a semi-truck, box trucks, and other commercial-rated vehicles, making service calls, interact with customers and expand business through service and increased sales.
TIA certification or the ability to certify within a reasonable amount of time. Hand tools experience is important as well as familiarity with Oil/Lube and/or tire shops.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred
Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time throughout the day
Meet all requirements of employability in the state of Georgia
Must hold a valid and current driver's license Class C Regular or higher, with an insurable Driver's History
Demonstrated work ethic and ability to report to work with no excuses and the wherewithal to display initiative, ask questions, learn, retain and repeat all that is taught
High School Diploma / GED highly preferred
PAY RATE:
- $16-18 DOE
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Mon-Fri 7:30AM - 5:00PM
