This role is responsible for assisting with the layout of commercial construction worksites in accordance with project specifications, plumbing codes, and construction drawings. The Layout Technician plays a key role in ensuring accurate installation sequencing and field execution.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with layout of plumbing systems and construction worksites per approved plans and specificationsReview and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and building plansAccurately measure and mark layout points for installationIdentify and troubleshoot layout or site-related issues, providing effective solutionsCollaborate with field teams to ensure layout accuracy and efficiencyMaintain compliance with applicable plumbing codes and safety standardsJob RequirementsMinimum 2+ years of experience in new construction, with prior involvement in layout activitiesStrong ability to read, interpret, and understand construction drawingsAccurate measuring skills and attention to detailProven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities on active jobsitesComfortable working on ladders and at heightsAbility to lift:Up to 10 lbs regularlyUp to 50 lbs frequentlyOver 75 lbs occasionally with assistanceAbility to travel to job sites throughout the DMV area (approximately 100% field-based role)
